What we do.
De Meent is a place for people without papers - where they are seen, can develop, are part of a community and contribute to something bigger - producing sustainable food for social (food) projects. We also develop the farm and its surroundings - 31 hectares of natural landscape - as sustainable as possible.

You are welcome on the farm, but we are not an open farm. If you want to come by, please email us in advance.

Partners
of De Meent
Below you find links to people and organisations with whom we work, live and share our farm yard or harvest. For example, Annelies and Cornelia – they grow shiitakes and are involved in nature development around the Meent, including planting trees and starting a food forest.

Resilience
is an important
common ground
Soil, plants, people and animals prove to be able to cope with storms and adversity time and again. Tying up tomatoes in a sun-drenched garden, giving chickens dry feet after endless rain showers, building a greenhouse together, planting trees, taking crates full of vegetables and eggs to the city and having a warm lunch together under a tree with harvest from the land.
I want mail from nature
We are better at getting our hands dirty than typing on a computer, so don't expect piles of mail.
