Since June 2024, Boerderij de Meent has had a real sawmill!
Wood is a wonderful product to work with. This machine allows us to saw out rough logs, beams and planks for all kinds of purposes.
With the woodworking shop that is currently under construction, we hope to be able to make beautiful workpieces from the rough sawn material with the participants of De Meent.
The sawmill was set up in collaboration with our carpentry coordinator Heico Melis, who also manages the sawmill and is the contact person for questions regarding the production of products, sawing down trees or the delivery of wood.
