Program Amstelland Day, June 7

From 12 to 4 pm @ Boerderij de Meent

- Products from De Meent: fresh eggs, scones from Dorothy, cake and coconut cookies from Paulina, Samba's Sambal, De Meent organic tea mix, organic calendulacream, cutting boards, Meent bags, organically grown plants, meat from our oxes and pigs and much more

- Workshop: making your own ink from wild plants by BAM Collective

- Foraging walk and tasting by Hanneke from Hannibal Kitchen

- Tours of the farm with personal stories from Eugene, Paulina, Samba, Jip, Carine, Bianca, McDonald, Honey, and more

- Enjoy various snacks and drinks under the trees in our vegetable garden, such as coffee and tea, homemade elderflower lemonade, pancakes, soup made from our own chickens and beetroot soup from our own garden, and sandwiches with (pork) meat from De Meent by Erik's Delicatessen.

-See handyman Heico in action at the Sawmill , ask beekeeper Elise about the bees on the farm, learn more about the nature reserves around De Meent and our animals at farmer Zowie's, and gardener Hanno can tell you everything about the vegetables, flowers, and herbs in our garden.

-Also take a look at our neighbors across the street - the Dorothy community - there is an open-air celebration in the style of Taizé at 1:30 PM and an African contemporary dance workshop at 3:00 PM (dance experience not required)
